We handle data the way we expect agencies to handle payroll: carefully, minimally, and in a way that survives being questioned. Last updated: July 2026.
Who we are
FanOptik provides analytics, team accountability and payroll software for OnlyFans agencies and independent creators. This policy covers this website and the FanOptik platform. Questions and requests: hello@fanoptik.com.
What we collect, and why
Website visitors. This site does not run advertising trackers. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you.
Platform customers and their teams. Account details for owners, managers and chatters (name, email, role), shift and clock in records, and payroll configuration. This is the product doing its job.
Connected creator accounts. Earnings, subscription and sales data synced read only from connected accounts. Creator credentials are used once to establish a connection and then discarded: never stored, never logged.
Fan data. Covered in detail, in plain English, in our fan data statement. The short version: purchase records yes, message content never, no free text notes about people, anonymised after 24 months.
How it is stored
Each customer workspace runs in its own isolated database. Data is encrypted at rest, backed up off site, and those backups are tested by actually restoring them. Access inside FanOptik is role based: chatters see their own numbers, managers see their teams, owners see the workspace.
What we never do
- Sell or rent any data to anyone
- Share data between customer workspaces
- Use customer or fan data for advertising
- Store fan message content or creator credentials
Service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service: hosting, a licensed platform access layer for read only sync, and secure remote browser infrastructure for live sessions. Each processes data only to provide the service, under contract. We keep this list short on purpose.
Retention
Customer workspace data is kept while the account is active and exported or deleted on request when it closes. Detailed fan purchase records anonymise after 24 months. Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for supporting you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (UK, EU, California and other jurisdictions with data protection law), you can request access, correction, erasure, or object to processing. Write to hello@fanoptik.com. We answer within one month.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and tell active customers directly. We do not change it quietly.
